MFrac Quick Steps

MFrac - Pressure Matching Quick Steps

1. Open MView - Setup parameters to send real-time data to MinFrac and MFrac.
2. Open MinFrac - Determine ISIP, P_c, ΔP_net, t_c, η (Regression Analysis) and ΔP_nw (Step Down).
3. Open MFrac - Modify Rock Property Table stresses based on minifrac P_c. Add ΔP_nw effects.
4. Run MFrac
   1. Match MFrac ISIP and ΔP_net with real-time data. Increase or decrease Rock Properties Table stresses to match ISIP. Increase or decrease the confining stresses or friction factor multiplier to match ΔP_net.
   2. Match Pressure Decline & Efficiency with real-time data. Modify the total leakoff coefficient to change the fracture efficiency and rate of pressure decline during closure.
5. Match Surface and/or Bottomhole Pressures during pumping by increasing or decreasing wellbore friction, perforation and ΔP_nw. To import ΔP_nw as a function of time in MFrac select Zones | Near Wellbore | Import RT.
